Step 1

Clean the skin around the splinter.

Step 2

Clean a pair of tweezers with medical alcohol or clean them thoroughly if there isn't any medical alcohol.

Step 3

If the splinter is stuck out, remove with the tweezers.

Step 4

If it's small, put tape or a wet strip on it and remove it.

Step 5

Get professional help if it's too deep, you can't get it out, it's under the nail, it's a pain or it's swollen.

Step 6

The splinter may not hurt or be tiny and if so, you can leave it. It'll be fine!
